It's my last instagram update of the year! Where on earth has it gone? It's been amazing to say the least and I have a funny feeling 2013 is going to be just as good. Especially since I'll be welcoming it in on the side of the Thames with Daniel. I'm spending my last few days of 2012 galavanting around my favourite city, sightseeing and shopping. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and an equally lovely New Year, and i'll see you on the other side. Enjoy it and stay safe.

Birthday Wishlist

1. Bubblegum Lip Scrub - Lush - £5.25
2. Skull Money Bank - Urban Outfitters - £15
3. Macbook Pro 15" - Apple - £1499
4. Alvine Kvist bed linen - Ikea - £30
5. Fur coat - H&M - £34.99
6. Blog Inc Book - Urban Outfitters - £10

Since my birthday is only eight days away, I thought I'd put together a wishlist of some things I've been lusting after for a while. I know Daniel has already bought me the book since I hinted at it on Christmas day and the Macbook is going to be my birthday present to myself. Hopefully I will be able to pick up the fur coat in London over the weekend because it's sold out online. I love all this interior related, so the money bank is different, even if slightly scary, and I've wanted new bedding for a while, since I didn't buy new when I moved out. The lip scrub I bought a friend for Christmas after trying it in the Birmingham store. I wanted to keep it for myself so bad, so now it's my turn for luscious lips!

Dreams are like angels

dress: H&M
shoes: ebay
socks: Topshop
necklaces: Matalan and New Look
headband: Primark
rings: Primark and H&M
nails:
Mavala Elle Grey and Avon Silver Plated

I must say it's been such a lovely Christmas eve. I made a mad dash to the shop for some last minute present shopping, then spent four hours at home wrapping presents - I even made my own name tags! I watched Love Actually and Prince Caspian back to back, then went to church with the family.

This is what I wore last Thursday night for drinks with the girls, celebrating their return to Telford and the finishing of Semester one at university. I was waiting for any excuse to wear my new dress. I kept putting off buying it because of my already extensive dress collection but when I got 50% off 3 items I ran to this straight away.

My love for burgundy and silver meant my spiked necklace came for a night out along with my collection of cross necklaces, these days it should be illegal to wear only one necklace - the more the merrier I say!

Week #51

Title page for my first hand in // I'm tweeting, with the cutest background
Final prints for my second hand in // The perfect end to Gossip Girl
Cutest Christmas card from my nephews // End of semester treat
What I wore // The most important Christmas card from my favourite man
Cute Christmas packaging // Love my new tote bag, been dying for a black one for ages!

So it's Christmas eve eve and it's the end of week 51 of 2012. Where on earth has it gone? I'm thankfully not working tomorrow, so I'm going to spend it wrapping presents, baking shortbread with my sisters and paying a visit to church (has to be done this time of year). I'm such a festive person and I've been excited for Christmas since about... August, so I'm bouncing around with excitement!

Finishing my semester at university this week meant it was a quiet week on instagram whilst I did last minute cramming in my sketchbooks. Such an amazing feeling knowing I'd finished and I treated myself by getting my nails done and having a night out with my girls, which I will blog my outfit tomorrow.

Have a lovely Christmas and remember to make the most of it. The day comes and goes that quick that you blink and it's gone. God bless you all.

Studio Strategies

SPORTS:

 GOTHIC:

 MILITARY:

 JEWEL:

These are the photos I handed in last week as final prints for my Studio Strategies project. I focused on the Autumn/Winter trends that I thought were most significant and photographed them in various locations around Telford. I wanted grungy locations so ended up shooting on top of a car park, at a train station, outside an old toy factory and in front shop shutters. My model Ada was brilliant, and after the first shoot I decided to use her for all four. It's safe to say we bonded very well whilst switching outfits in my little car. I hope you like them!
