What I bought: November

 Spotted shirt - H&M
I've had my eye on this for a while and finally bought it for a date night to Frankie & Benny's with Daniel.
Brown marl sparkly jumper - H&M
I can't get enough of jumpers this season, they are so versatile and literally work with anything.
Blue jumper - H&M
This jumper is so slouchy which I really love. I bought a size bigger than usual so it was just a little cosier.
Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer in Medium - Boots
I've heard good things about this concealer and since my current one is on its way out I thought I'd try something new.
Charles Worthington Front-row Colour Stressed shampoo and conditioner
St Tropez Everyday body moisturiser in Medium/Dark
The Original Tanning Mitt by Velvotan
iPad mini case
imPRESS Press on Manicure in Control Freak
Sulu Strawberry and Cream sweets
The Body Shop satsuma body butter
Kleenex tissues
O.P.I Nail Lacquer in Blue Shatter
Colgate Max White One
Kleenex Shine Absorbing Sheets

I picked up all of these treats at the Company Fashion Forum I attended a few weeks ago. The tickets were £25 but the contents of my goodie bag were worth plenty more than that. I can't wait to try these products out and hopefully do a few reviews.
I've wanted these since they came out, but they're only available at Sainsburys and our little Telford store didn't stock them so I managed to pick the lace one up in Shrewsbury and my friend Liss bought me the other two as early birthday presents (thanks Liss!) I'm going to use them as candle holders.

This light is contagious

dress: H&M
jacket: eBay
scarf: unknown
boots: H&M
watch: Red Herring
earrings: Avon (similar here)

Only a few photos of todays outfit since I was in a rush to get to university. I had a meeting about an exhibition that we're putting together for one of our projects but when I got there, there was nobody there. According to the email, it still happened, but I'm not sure where. So I'm pretty annoyed about that, it's about an hour there and an hour back which could have been spent working from home.

This is what I threw on today, I stayed at Daniels last night so before work yesterday I packed my bag and just threw in something simple. Same goes for my hair too; my simple clipped up messy hairstyle seems to be my go-to at the moment. It seems pointless to make any effort given the weather. I am extremely happy to have my middle parting back though, even changing my parting occasionally gives my hair a bit of a refresh.

Week #47

Daisy the dog // Watching my favourite Christmas film
This weeks choice of nails // Film developing at university
School of Art and Design // Mint collar and burgundy jumper
Red sky at night // Treats from Daniel
12 free doughnuts // Wrapped up to go and photograph Ironbridge
Warning signs in Ironbridge // Date night!
Finally got all three Gaultier bottles // Trying on jumpers

I've been slacking on the blogging front since I realised my university projects are due in in under a month, the stress has officially set in! So I'm preparing myself for some long days at university and a lot of dates with my camera. I've also decided this week I'm going to leave my Christmas shopping until after I've broken up for Christmas and just do it all in one day.

This week I'm putting my Christmas tree up and planning a trip to Birmingham to the German Market on Saturday with Daniel, expect an Instagram overload! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Still waiting for the snow to fall

 shirt: H&M
jumper: H&M
shorts: Tammy @ BHS
jacket: ebay
boots: H&M
rings: H&M, Matalan

I knew I wanted to wear this jumper and shorts today, but when I put it on, the jumper looked odd without some sort of collar poking out the neckline. I tried on a denim shirt, then a white shirt, then I saw my little mint top and thought the mint/burgundy combination would be heavenly!

You can tell how old these shorts are, just by the fact that they are from Tammy! I don't even know if BHS still has a Tammy section in it. I have seen some tweed shorts that look quite nice, but why fix what's not broken? These shorts are still going strong so we'll hang in there.

Christmas tag

Q1: What item of clothing do you love to wear in winter but wouldn't be seen wearing in public?

I would have to say my dressing gown. It is the first thing I put on when I get home and the last thing I take off before I climb into bed. Everyone else would probably have a onesie for this purpose but I never really jumped on that hype.

Q2: Most wanted item for autumn/winter?

There are so many things I want this season! The perfect party dress for a start! Along with a black fur coat and a never ending supply of woolly jumpers!

Q3: Favourite boots to wear in the winter?

Normally I like flat ankle boots. Last year I lived in my H&M Chelsea Boots, but this year I've really been getting my wear out of my H&M heels. I was never aware of how comfortable they actually are to wear as everyday footwear.

Q4: Are you a fan of UGG boots?

Most definitely not. I think I had a cheap pair of Primark ones when I was about 14, but never again would they ever come near m wardrobe.

Q5: It's snowing/raining outside, what are you favourite wellies to wear?

I don't own a pair of wellies, but if I did they would be your classic green colour and I'd forever be reaching for them in this British winter time.

Q6: What is your favourite autumn trend?

I love the military trend, although I don't really tend to shop by trend. I shop more for certain pieces that I've been lusting after and that I know will fit in with the rest of my wardrobe

Q7: What is your typical winter day consisting of?

At the moment everyday seems to consist of university or work. And if I'm not doing them then I'm working on my photography projects at home. My typical Christmas Eve would consist of lazing around on the sofa and watching endless cooking programs with Dad.

Q8: Cup of tea, hot chocolate, or coffee?

I like the occasional hot chocolate, especially Costa's festive Honeycomb hot chocolate

Q9: Do you like or dislike that it's starting to get dark?

I love this! It makes it so easier to unwind after work and snuggle up. It also means Christmas is on it's way!

Q10: Christmas is coming, do you have any idea of what you want?

I haven't really asked for anything major this year. I've already had a printer of Mum and Dad and there will still be a million and one things to open Christmas morning. Daniel is getting me a 50mm lens for my Canon, and I'm saving myself for a Macbook Pro so this year I'm pretty much sorted
