I was complaining to Em when we were taking these photos that my shoes were hurting my feet, particularly my right foot. I pretty much crawled home only to find the cardboard inside. My poor foot is somewhat feeling sorry for itself now. 

Anyway, this combination is pretty much all I wear these days: sweater (which is a large may I add, I wanted it quite big), jeans and a messy ponytail or bun. I'm currently in the process of having a major wardrobe clear out, I just don't feel like half the clothes are very 'me' anymore. My style has definitely changed since having Willow and I'm a much lazier dresser than I used to be so I'm trying that whole thing where if I see something I like I'll wait and if I'm still thinking about it a few days later I'll go back for it. So far so good.

Note to self: don't take Willow to take photos because she will cry and you will only end up with about three half decent photos. It was chilly though bless her. I thought I'd quickly share an outfit that has been in my wardrobe for a couple of years now. It's one of my favourites, although I hate the fact that the material of the top doesn't match the material of the bottoms. 

It's the first time I've worn it post-pregnancy and I still love it as much as before. Along with my new Primark sunglasses. After six years working in retail I've learnt that the summer gear appears in shops very early and it's better to get it then than when all the sunglasses have been thrown around the floor, or all the bikinis have had somebody else's bum in them.

My pink bomber, a firm new favourite after Willow was born and I could wear a bomber jacket without looking twice the size I actually am (turns out they don't look so good with an 8 month bump). That said, I get a lot of stick every time I wear it from all my family after X Factors finest, Honey G, was spotted wearing it in one of her clips a few weeks ago. Not cool.

It's looks nice with Willow's grey wheels though, only the best ride for this little baba. I want to do a review of my Stokke Crusi in a few months, when Willow has moved from the carrycot to the pushchair, that way I can talk about the whole travel system. It is most definitely my favourite purchase of the year by far.

Also this shirt, they don't sell it in H&M anymore, but god has it been my saviour this year. It's one of the few tops I had that weren't maternity but managed to fit me right up until the end of my pregnancy. I promised I ironed it, it's just that silly material that creases as soon as you look at it.

Let's face it, Dad's garden was always going to make the perfect spot to take some photos at some point. This is the maternity top I was on about still being loose on me, one of the few things that actually are! I love it with my white ASOS blazer when I want to look a little smarter; and when I want to dress it down I just throw it on with my little denim maternity shorts that have popped up on my weekly updates from time to time.

These H&M jeans are the hand me downs from my friend Louise; they're an absolute god send. H&M don't seem to do slim Mama jeans anymore but I've linked the ones I can find that are pretty similar. In all fairness I thought they were the skinny style until I checked the label on the inside. I don't think I'd fit my chubby legs in the skinny style to be honest.

The Spring Dress

The same thing happens on my first day back in work after a week off. I arrive at 7.30am (or normally a few minutes later than that) and by 8am I've already done a lap of the ladies floor and have an armful of new things to try on. This dress caught my eye straight away in one of these supermarket sweep strolls. I like my dresses not too long and not too fitted, in fact I don't like anything figure hugging at all, so this one was a sure-fire winner. I also subconsciously shy away from low cut tops but let's not go there today, I could go on and on about my style preferences.
