21 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH BABY PRITCHARD

How far along?
21+6

Total weight gain?
I did remember to weigh myself on Saturday morning. 10st 7lbs so altogether I've put on about a stone from my average pre pregnancy weight.

Stretch marks?
I think there might be a couple making an appearance. I might buy some bio oil just to help with the whole process as my skin is starting to feel very tight.

Sleep?
Great this week to be fair!

Best moment this week?
We finally told Willow! It was the sweetest thing. We filmed the whole chat and I'm so glad we did. The first thing she asked me this morning is if my tummy was okay. And when we were colouring when I got home from work she told me to be careful because I was making my tummy wobble.

Miss anything?
Just having more time. Working 9am-6pm five days a week is so hard. I feel like there's just never any time. I get home in the evening and by the time I've cooked and eaten dinner it's nearly 8pm. Then I also have to fit in washing, tidying, hoovering, showering. I know I'm only just halfway through but I am honestly so ready for maternity leave.

Movement?
Still more little kicks than big ones. Although judging from our scan with the consultant on Thursday it was clear to see that it's bent foot definitely doesn't hold it back. She was very happy with the amount of movement in both legs.

Food cravings?
Still nothing!

Anything make you queasy or sick?
Nothing. Generally overall it's been quite a good week.

Gender?
I'm feeling more like it's a boy again, but who knows! I think it's so weird when you go to a scan and the medical professional can probably clearly see the gender but obviously just don't say.

Labour signs?
Nothing.

Symptoms?
Just the same as always, aches and pains all over the place. I definitely need to blow my ball up soon!

Belly button in or out?
It's honestly so so close to popping out.

Mood?
Much better than last week. We had our consultant appointment on Thursday and it put my mind so much at ease. Obviously we won't know 100% until baby is here but I'm feeling a lot more confident that it's left foot is an isolated incident and we've just got to wait for our referral from the orthopaedic hospital, which I've also heard is a brilliant hospital so that's great to know.

Maternity clothes?
I still think I need a few more bottoms but we're getting there!

Looking forward to?
Nothing in particular just a few days rest this week. I think I nice big autumnal walk is on the cards for Saturday. I've worked the last two full weekends so it feels like ages since we've spent some time properly together.

20 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH BABY PRITCHARD

How far along?
20+6. What a week!

Total weight gain?
I forgot AGAIN! I was so good with Willow's pregnancy, this time I just don't care.

Stretch marks?
None, I'm feeling much bigger though, I can't imagine it will be long.

Sleep?
I've been struggling to get to sleep initially as opposed to having broken sleep. There's been a couple of nights where it's as if I'm about to go to bed and my body pretends it's got a water infection. The last couple of nights I've just taken paracetamol before bed just to help me get to sleep.

Best moment this week?
Definitely when Kyle felt baby kick on Tuesday evening. I was exactly 20 weeks and we'd had a rubbish afternoon after the scan and it's like baby was telling us it will all be okay.

Miss anything?
Not really this week. My head has been a little bit elsewhere.

Movement?
Still small, but enough that Kyle managed to feel it, so did my Mum and sister.

Food cravings?
Still nothing! Absolutely nothing. I never used to like ice cream before my pregnancy with Willow but I started eating that when I was pregnant with her. There's still plenty of time for something though.

Anything make you queasy or sick?
Not this week. It's been a good week on the sickness front.

Gender?
I came out of my scan on Tuesday and just had this really strong feeling that it was a girl. I don't really know why. But my sister looked at the scan picture and said she's guessing boy and also talipes is more common in boys so who knows!

Labour signs?
Nothing.

Symptoms?
Still just the backache which I suppose you're bored of reading about. For a couple of weeks now I've been getting a horrible throb in my vagina when I've been stood up for a bit, it's something I mostly complain about at work but we discovered at my scan that I have a low lying placenta which could maybe explain all the extra pressure on my poor lady bits.

Belly button in or out?
In, but nearly out. I noticed as I was doing my hair the other day and my top was riding up that it looked like it had popped out but it was just the way I was sat.

Mood?
It's been up and down. We found out at the 20 week scan on Tuesday that baby has a unilateral left sided talipes, which means it has a bent foot. I was obviously upset, sat there being told that by the sonographer I had absolutely no idea what it meant for baby's future. I spent Tuesday evening learning all I could about the condition and after a good night sleep I felt so much better about the situation.

I still get pangs of anxiety but I think it's just me reading into things, like the fact the sonographer gave me information about an amniocentesis, incase the consultant brings it up at our appointment on Thursday. In my head I'm thinking why would I need an amniocentesis if it's just talipes, unless she's noticed something else that she didn't tell me. I just have to snap out of those little moments and tell myself that what will be will be and we'll hopefully find out more on Thursday. But at the same time I don't want to go in too hopeful and positive to have it all shattered.

Maternity clothes?
My sister kindly informed me my maternity leggings were see through after I'd worn them all day and on the school run, so that was great. I decided then that I desperately needed to get more maternity trousers. I had a couple of pairs of jeans from my pregnancy with Willow but the waistbands have gone on them and they just don't fit snug over the bump anymore. I'll maybe do a little haul on Youtube or some sort of autumn styling video.

Looking forward to?
I just want it to be Thursday so we can have our appointment with the consultant. Like I said I spent the evening researching the condition so all I know about it is what I've learnt myself. I'm unaware what our individual situation looks like and I'm just really unsure what to expect from the appointment.

19 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH BABY PRITCHARD

How far along?
19+5. I can't believe I'll be halfway on Tuesday! I know it's cliche but it's honestly gone so fast. I remember being in lockdown and being unsure whether my period was late or whether I was actually pregnant.

Total weight gain?
Again I've still not weighed myself and now I'm sat at Mum and Dad's waiting for my Sunday dinner so it's definitely not going to happen now. I do feel like my belly has popped a little bit, but I still don't feel like I've got big quickly like a lot of people say happens second time around. I can't be that big because Willow is still none the wiser.

Stretch marks?
Still nothing. Still using the Palmer's stretch mark lotion but I really do think there's not a lot that can be done about stretch marks. You either have the genetics that get them or you have the genetics that don't.

Sleep?
Good this week. I was home alone Monday evening until Friday because Kyle and Willow stayed at the caravan whilst I came back to work, so I enjoyed a few nights of starfishing in the bed on my own and not being woken up by a three year old who wants to go downstairs the moment you open your eyes. Things quickly returned to normal by Saturday morning though...

Best moment this week?
I know technically the bank holiday weekend was during my 18th week but we had such a lovely few days away.

Miss anything?
It's gonna sound really materialistic, and I know it is, but I miss being able to update my wardrobe for autumn. I think more so for me because I work in retail and I get to see all the beautiful pieces that are coming in store that obviously just won't fit me.

Movement?
Still only tiny little kicks, but only in the evening when I'm lay very still on the bed.

Food cravings?
None this week again which is very boring.

Anything make you queasy or sick?
I went out for food on Monday evening with my brother and sister and I felt so sick that evening. You know the kind of sick where you have to put a bin by your bed incase it happens in the night. I don't think it was pregnancy related though because my sister had the same meal as me and she didn't feel great the next day either.

Gender?
Still a surprise. One thing I keep forgetting to mention here that is completely irrelevant to the gender but I was shocked when my sister told me, is that this is for the second time we've had the same due date, but obviously different years. My nephew was due 13th October 2011 and I had the same due date with Willow in 2016, and my niece was due 26th January 2019 and I've got the same due date in 2021.

Labour signs?
Nothing.

Symptoms?
I'm still mostly just suffering with the aches and pains. On Friday I was getting shooting pains in my lower back every now and then, the ones that make you catch your breath. But then some days I feel absolutely fine. Maybe it's just down to how the baby is lay. I think it's time to get the ball blown up though, I've been told a couple of times that it'll help.

Belly button in or out?
In.

Mood?
Feeling good. The start of September always has a nice feel to it doesn't it, and I suppose even more so this year when things have been so strange for the last six months. It feels like a fresh start, and it's also the start of the best four months of the year. It's one month today until Willow's birthday so I best start getting organised.

Maternity clothes?
There was a 3 for 2 offer on sale at work so I bought a few maternity bits but I'm still yet to try them on. I also bought a new midi dress the same style as the floral one I was wearing in my last update, but just a more autumnal pattern. At least I know that'll fit me after, and it's also got buttons so it'll be ideal for breastfeeding. I think I'll probably just be buying more jackets or shackets this season so I know I'll get the wear out of them afterwards too.

Looking forward to?
My 20 week scan on Tuesday! I don't think Kyle is coming with me unless he can sort something at work because it's right in the middle of the day and his work can take him from one end of the county to the other all in one day. I tried changing it for an earlier appointment but then we'd be stuck for someone to have Willow with the other appointment times they'd offered me and also trying to fit it around her being at nursery because she's only doing reduced hours this week to settle in. So yeah, it's a bit rubbish that Kyle can't come but then I've asked Mum to come with me instead.

17 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH BABY PRITCHARD

How far along?
17+6.

Total weight gain?
Aw man! I'm rubbish at weighing myself this time around. I'm all comfy in bed so there's no way I'm going back downstairs to get the scales. I guess this time around i'm just not so bothered.

Stretch marks?
Still no new ones that I can tell, but honestly my boobs look huge!

Sleep?
Not too bad this week from what I can remember.

Best moment this week?
Definitely feeling baby move for the first time!

Miss anything?
Not really. Nothing pregnancy related, but I do miss having more time with Willow. She is a little madam for me lately and although she drives me crazy I do feel like it's a lot of work, sleep, work, sleep.

Movement?
I felt baby kick for the first time on Thursday night and every night since. It's definitely a night time baby, but I suppose I'd have no chance of feeling it in the day at the moment with how much I move around on my feet.

Food cravings?
None. I don't think I had any crazy ones with Willow either so I wonder whether I will get some this time eventually or not.

Anything make you queasy or sick?
Just cat meat still. But I don't really have to be pregnant for that to make me heave.

Gender?
I'm surprised how few people have put their penny's worth in on a gender. Maybe I've still got it all to come!

Labour signs?
Nothing.

Symptoms?
Still just very achy. My lower back is screaming at me by the end of the day. I definitely wasn't this achy with my pregnancy with Willow.

Belly button in or out?
In.

Mood?
Much better than last week that's for sure.

Looking forward to?
A bank holiday weekend at the caravan. We haven't seen Kyle's Mum since the start of the month so Willow has already started the countdown to when we go at the weekend.

16 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH BABY PRITCHARD

How far along?
16+5. Doesn't 16 weeks feel like a big milestone for some reason? Like one of the weeks that stands out.

Total weight gain?
I've just weighed myself and I weigh 10st 6lb. That's nearly a stone on in the last week according to the scales. It just shows how inconsistent weighing yourself can be. Thankfully I've never taken the number on the scales to heart.

Stretch marks?
Still no new ones.

Sleep?
Thursday and Friday night, well mornings, I woke at about 2.30am and couldn't get back to sleep for at least two hours. I even contemplated getting up and doing the ironing or something because I just got that bored of tossing and turning in the bed.

Best moment this week?
I've really struggled this week. On Thursday I hobbled around work all day because my hip was agony. I put on my insta stories that from what I'd read it sounded like sciatica and I had so many responses of exercises and stretches and things that could help. The hip pain had eased by Friday but by the end of that day my back was really sore. I'm definitely feeling the fact that I'm on my feet all day this pregnancy in comparison to Willow's pregnancy. It's been nice to just have a lazy day at home with Willow today.

Miss anything?
Not aching!

Movement?
Still the same bubbly feelings. I think I'll feel this one much quicker than I felt Willow. I didn't feel any proper movement from Willow until I was 21 weeks.

Food cravings?
None this week really. I did enjoy my 700g of fizzy sweets that got dropped off on the doorstep earlier in the week though!

Anything make you queasy or sick?
The only thing I've noticed recently that I hadn't mentioned last week is that I'm not a good passenger anymore. I'm fine when I'm driving but being in the passenger seat leaves me feeling awful.

Gender?
No inklings at either gender this week.

Labour signs?
Nothing.

Symptoms?
Apart from the aching hip and back I've felt good. I've felt more tired this week but I think that's just because I've gone back to work after two weeks off.

Belly button in or out?
In.

Mood?
A bit down this week, not gonna lie. I really wasn't looking forward to going back to work, not helped by Willow who cried at the conversation about going to a holiday club. The mum guilt was through the roof. She loved it and cried when it got to Friday and I told her she wasn't going at the weekend. But tomorrow is a new week!

Looking forward to?
My Sunday dinner in about an half an hours time. Dad has been doing BBQ's on a Sunday for the last god knows how many weeks which BBQ meat isn't my favourite right now. But roast dinners I've got all the time in the world for.

15 WEEKS PREGNANT WITH BABY PRITCHARD

How far along?
15+5 weeks. Better late than never on this one. I've been off work but with Willow being home and being a little madame all week I've not quite gotten round to writing this one. She's currently playing with her dolls house and watching Peter Rabbit so I thought I'd take some time on this hot Friday to sit and get it done.

Total weight gain?
I finally sorted the batteries out in the scales and weighed in at 10st 2lb. I was quite surprised, I did expect it to be more than that. At this point with Willow I weighed 9st 9lb so I'm definitely a little chunkier than I was four years ago.

Stretch marks?
None, although my boobs are looking extra veiny these days. I'm praying to god that varicose vein doesn't come back in my groin. That was horrible last time.

Sleep?
Not bad, apart from the fact I've still not bought a new blackout blind for our bedroom so I still wake pretty early in the morning. I do find I tend to need a wee about 4.00/5.00am and I find it hard after that to get back to sleep.

Best moment this week?
We've had some lovely moments this week, we went out for the day last week with my sister and niece to Stourport-on-Severn, and on Sunday we went to Wonderland which is a local attraction for children. It's somewhere Willow was asking to go all through lockdown because we passed it on our walks so we decided to surprise her. Let it be said though, because I could easily gloss over it and not mention it, but she was so naughty on the way home, and she has been pretty much all week since. We've definitely had a much slower week this week because of that. But it was nice to actually be able to get out and go places. I remember in my 2020 goals video at the start of the year that I wanted to make the most of my time off work (who'd have thought we'd all end up having 3 months plus off work!) and I do feel like we've had a nice balance of going out and staying in these last couple of weeks.

Miss anything?
Not really this week.

Movement?
Still the same as last week, just the strange little bubbles on my left side when I'm very still.

Food cravings?
Only last night when I was browsing a sweet company on Instagram. They're local and they deliver boxes of pick & mix sweets and all I could think about all night after that was fizzy sweets. I think they'll definitely be getting an order this weekend.

Anything make you queasy or sick?
Nothing comes to mind. It's been a quiet week really.

Gender?
Saw four magpies the other day so make of that what you will...

Labour signs?
Nope

Symptoms?
I still feel a bit in that not pregnant stage. People ask how I am but I don't really have much to tell them. My back has been hurting a lot more this week but I think I've just been going a bit hard on the housework.

Belly button in or out?
In.

Mood?
Still feeling happy, not been so relaxed but I'm putting that one on my little threenager! We've still had a lovely time together, but I do think that's part of Willow's problem is that she just loves being around other children so much.

Looking forward to?
Had my 20 week anomaly scan come through which I'm looking forward to. Getting to see baby again is always exciting. I'm also looking forward to when we tell Willow about the baby, whenever that will be. We made the decision not to tell her yet, it's such a long time for her to wait, especially when she has no concept of time, but seeing how she is with my niece, Macie, just warms my heart, apart from the odd occasion when she's trying to shove her dummy in her ear or snatch a toy off her, but for the most part she's wonderful.

14 WEEKS WITH BABY PRITCHARD

It's been nearly two years since my last blog post, but I definitely couldn't pass up on documenting this pregnancy like I did with Willow's. It'll be nice to compare how the different weeks compare in each pregnancy. I will do a monthly update on my Youtube channel too because it's nice to just sit and actually have a ramble out loud too. I hope you enjoy sharing this journey with us again.

How far along?
14 weeks today!

Total weight gain?
I'm not sure what my starting weight was but I'm gonna say it was about 9st 8lb ish. Being in lockdown I was definitely less active whilst still eating more. Our scales need new batteries so I'll have to update on that one next week.

Stretch marks?
No new ones, just old ones from Willow that are silvery and faded now, and even then they were only on the lower part of my stomach. I'd kind of accepted a couple of years after having Willow that my belly button would never quite look the same again but I'm not bothered, the only person that sees my belly button or silver stripes is Kyle or Willow, and if I ever wear swimwear I'm happy in a swimming costume or high waist bikini.

Sleep?
I do find if I wake in the night then it's pretty much game over. I can lie awake for a couple of hours before I manage to nod back off. Other than that sleep isn't too interrupted at the moment.

Best moment this week?
Breaking up from work for two weeks off! Going back to work full time after lockdown and being very early pregnant was hard. It would have been a shock to the system enough after nearly 3 months off but throwing pregnancy in the mix too meant that I'd get home from work and just have nothing left to give. I'd just about manage until Willow's bedtime then I'd be straight in bed myself. These two weeks off are going to be heaven.

Miss anything?
Kinda just missing wearing normal clothes. Struggling with trousers at the minute, I'm too big for my normal trousers but too small for maternity so I've just been living in the same few dresses none stop.

Movement?
If i'm lay really still, I can feel little bubbles on my left side. I'm not even sure it's baby related because with Willow I didn't feel anything until gone 20 weeks. Maybe I'm just a bit more aware of my body this time, or maybe you can feel things earlier second time around.

Food cravings?
Nothing.

Anything make you queasy or sick?
Only when I have to feed the cat. I have also found that I can't drink full fat fizzy drinks like I used to. I've always been a full fat kinda girl but a couple of times I've had a bottle of Coca Cola or Pepsi at work and it's given my the shakes and made me all hot. It must just send my blood sugars through the roof. I did have sickness but it didn't last long thank god. I think I'll go into more detail on early pregnancy in a Youtube video.

Gender?
My friend, Naomi, has made her prediction going off the forehead theory that baby is a boy. She said if it has a flatter forehead then it's a boy. Again like our pregnancy with Willow we won't be finding out, there truly is no surprise like it.

Labour signs?
Absolutely not. We'll keep it that way for a little while please...

Symptoms?
Since about 10 weeks I've felt really good! I'm reaching that stage where apart from a tiny round belly I don't really feel pregnant at all. My SPD did flare back up again literally the day I had my dating scan, which I was gutted about. Last time I didn't get it until 31 weeks so I thought surely it can't be right feeling it this early but from what I read 12-14 weeks can be about right when you're body is full of the hormone relaxin. I've thankfully only had a couple of bad days with it so I've just got to go a little slower and remember to stop crossing my legs when I'm sat down.

Belly button in or out?
In, and a little bit worse for wear. It's definitely seen better days my poor belly button.

Mood?
Happy, and relaxed. Just enjoying a bit of summer holiday down time.

Looking forward to?
The glorious weather that's heading our way the next few days. I'm going out tomorrow for a little wonder around Stourport with my sister and the girls, and Friday we're heading to the caravan for the weekend where I did think about going to the farm Saturday but I'm not even sure if it will be open. If not I think an ice cream in Barmouth by the harbour will be on the cards.
