You took my breath away

 dress: Primark
shoes: Primark
necklace: Topshop
socks: Topshop
watch: Red Herring
rings: Primark

I've so tired whilst writing this. Mum and Dad are having a party in the garden but I'm feeling unsociable so I've sloped off to my room to catch up on blogs and watch the best Saturday night has to offer, meaning Doctor Who, X Factor and Jonathon Ross. I've been at work this afternoon, which, call me crazy, but lately I've really enjoyed work.

I wanted to make the most of being able to wear my little frilly socks without tights so I wore this Primark dress that I've had a few years now. So many people complimented it at work, I almost feel guilty telling them its about 3 years old, but always point them in the direction of a similar H&M version (such a good personal shopper!) I teamed it with my spiked Topshop necklace to take away too much prettiness, I seem to lean more towards grungy lately.

All the kids they dance

 skirt: H&M
top: H&M
boots: H&M
socks: Topshop
necklace: River Island
rings: H&M and Accessorize
Sunglasses: H&M

I've had such a lovely day doing, well, not a lot. I started to sort my wardrobe out this morning and got completely distracted when I came across my pointe shoes, so I pottered around the house in them for a bit, got bored, and sat in the garden reading The Hunger Games all afternoon. I then took a trip to Ikea tonight, where I bought some bare essentials: cocktail glasses, animal plasters and some cute pastel cups for my make-up brushes.

I didn't quite anticipate how warm it was going to be today and started the day off with my new thick cardigan on. Needless to say it slipped back in my wardrobe very swiftly. I am loving the boots and socks thing at the minute, it gives my pretty little pink skirt a grungy edge, which I love.

Mac Face and Body Foundation

Mac Face and Body Foundation in N2 (£26.50)

I picked up this foundation in LA but I've been waiting to use up all of my Rimmel one before I start this one. It's my pet hate to have lots of the same product open at the same time as I don't want them to go off.

When I went in the Mac store I told the lady I wanted something quite sheer because, unlike most people, I actually like my freckles and didn't want to cover them up. She tested three different foundations before we both agreed this one fitted the bill. I don't wear much make-up, and what I do wear is only light and natural so this new edition to my make-up bag has become a keeper.

The substance is quite watery on the back of my hand, but it glides on my face like a dream. An amount smaller than a 5 pence piece is enough for my face. Then I seal it with either Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Light/Medium or Avon Smooth Minerals in Nude.

Don't let me down

 playsuit: Primark
shawl: Primark
boots: H&M
necklace: my Nan's
watch: Red Herring
bracelets: Barcelona, Alicante and Valras Plage

Well I can say I've had a fairly productive day. I had a meeting with the bank and then went buying things with Abi for our new house, which we will be moving into in the next two weeks! I went to the train station to pick up my tickets to London, but the machine was out of order. So excited to go back to my favourite place again after less than two weeks being home. I can see me and the train journey to Euston becoming very familiar over the next few years.

This outfit would be my perfect festival look, if I were to ever go to one. It's probably as close to the Boho trend as it gets for me, as I think my style is a bit more clean cut. I've had the shawl for about 3 years, but I've only wore it about 3 times - woops!

Week #35

Pearls, pink and a white collar // Feet tasting
 Adventurous nephew // Personal stylist
Owl hat // Trying out new styles
 Yankee Candle // Fur hat
 Matt nails // Outfit
Going out outfit // Me and my pretend boyfriend
Shots! Shots! Shots! // Going out face
Postcard from the little sisters // Thursday's outfit
 Wedding cupcakes // Sunday's outfit
Josh has come to play with Auntie // Treats from France

I'm sat here with a big smile on my face and I can't put my finger on why. I've been so content lately something bad is bound to happen - touch wood! Back to normal soon though, I'm back at university on the 17th and I'm going to work so hard you wouldn't believe.

Let the Autumn leaves fall

 dress: River Island
shoes: Primark
bag: Primark
socks: Topshop
watch: Red Herring

Don't you hate it when only a couple of weeks after you buy something it ends up reduced. I just went on to search for the link to this dress, only to find it's £15 cheaper than what I paid less than 2 weeks ago - story of my life! It is safe to say it is my favourite dress at the moment though, I really love the shape and the fit. I'm one of these girls that is happy enough with my tiny chest as I think clothes hang better on small boobs. I couldn't see my more chesty friends managing to fit into this.

This was another night out outfit. I like it that much I wore it two Thursday's in a row. Don't worry not in the same club, or even the same town. It's the first day of Autumn today, and the wedding I photographed went well (I think!) so I'm a little happy Lindsey today. Enjoy your Sunday!
